1963 LATEST AIRMAIL RATES OF THE PHILIPPINES

 

DOMESTIC AIRMAIL

The charge for domestic air mail shall be 30 centavos (including the ordinary postage) for every 20 grams or fraction thereof.  The limit of weight for such mail is 5 kilos.

FOREIGN AIRMAIL

The airmail charges, which include the ordinary postage, on mail matters for foreign countries, computed at every 15 grams or fraction thereof for letters and post cards, and for every 50 grams or fraction thereof for printed matters, commercial papers, samples of merchandise and small packets, are as follows:

The 50 centavo air-letter sheets may be accepted for transmission to countries for which the airmail charge (including ordinary postage) for each 15 grams or fraction thereof is P0.70 or less.

Single postcards and postal cards for transmission by air to countries for which the airmail fee (including ordinary postage) for an ordinary letter weighing not more that 15 grams is P0.70 or less shall be charged at the reduced rate of P0.50 each.  However, when the airmail fee for the ordinary letter is  lower that P0.50, the lower rate shall be applied to the cards.

Single postcards and postal cards for transmission by air to countries for which the air mail fee for an ordinary letter weighing not more than 15 grams is more than P0.70 shall be charged at the regular rates applicable to letters sent by air to these countries.
