PEACE FUND CAMPAIGN

As a means of implementing the peace campaign of the government, special stamps called BARANGAY was issued, bearing a symbolic design with the prominent figure of a "Cabeza de Barangay" overlooking a vast plain of grains being harvested by peaceful and contented citizens.  On the right foreground is a lovely country maid glowing with health and carrying joyfully an armful of palay stalks.  Inscriptions: COMMUNITY UNITY, STRENGTII, PEACE, AND SECURITY.
