New Printing of the 2011 issue:

Due to high demand, Philpost issued a new printing of the 2011 issue of the 2012 Year of the Dragon.  Although at first glance the stamps and souvenir sheets look similar to the 2011 issue, the following differences are noticeable:

  • Year of issue date is shown as "2012" instead of "2011".

  • The security microprinting (horizontal line below PILIPINAS), which reads "Philippine Postal Corporation", is omitted.

  • Thicker type of paper and finer perforations (14 instead of 13 x 13 1/4).

To be noted that the 2012 issue was printed by Amstar, Inc., instead of APO Productions Unit.
