A fully mature fruit shows an intense yellow skin color. The chesa has many medicinal uses. Its seeds are used as cure for ulcer. Decoction prepared from its bark can cure fever and skin diseases. Its fruit aids in skin regeneration. Rich in carotenoids, chesa can fight cancer.

WILD SWEET SOP (Rollinia deliciosa).  A specie of flowering plant in the custard-apple family, Annonaceae, native to tropical South America. It is cultivated for its edible fruits, commonly known as "biriba" or wild sugar apple. The fruit is large, conical, green when unripe, ripening to yellow. Its surface is covered with soft spine which bruise and blacken when handling. The fruit pulp is very soft and sweet, tasting somewhat like a lemon meringue pie. Some chefs have used it for cooking, and wine has been made out of its fruits pulp.

Sapinit is a type of shrub that typically grows in Mt. Banahaw. The fruit has a bright red-orange color with a distinct bitter-sour-sweet taste and a hairy receptacle. Sapinit has beneficial effects in fighting cancer and other diseases like Alzheimer's. It can also be made into products like jam, juice and wines.
