On the 125th anniversary of his martyrdom, the Post Office honors Rizal and his contributions to the advancement of knowledge through the practice of science, the quest for truth, and the study of life. It is known that Dr. Jose Rizal aimed to improve the lives of his fellowmen through science, education, and development. In a letter dated 1893, Rizal expressed his willingness to do everything for the people’s sake – a commitment he undisputedly accomplished, and one that the youth of today can likewise make.
