NATIONAL TEACHERS’ MONTH 2021  -  "iTeach for a Better Future: My Teacher, My Frontline Hero"

The Philippine Postal Corporation (Post Office) issues National Teachers' Month stamps in line with the program of the Department of Education (DepEd) to give importance to Filipino teachers and their most honorable profession. This year's theme is "iTeach for a Better Future: My Teacher, My Frontline Hero".

The ongoing public health crisis caused by the pandemic has made society suffer greatly, but instead of bowing down, our educators have risen to the challenge. Teachers care for their students as parents do for their own children. Driven by this and by their passion to serve the public, teachers took charge of the situation. They utilized technology to reach out to their students and thus revolutionized teaching.

Through online distance learning, teachers are able to sustain their role in helping the youth become active and productive members of our society, while they and their students are kept safe from COVID-19.

This postage stamp shows teachers using technology to cultivate knowledge and enrich students' minds. These stamps are a tribute to how teachers are frontline heroes.

This stamp is the Post Office's way of thanking all teachers this National Teachers' Month 2021.
